About the opportunity…

This position is responsible for maintaining high profitability of the parts operation, supervising and leading system aspects. Specifically:

  • Ensure profitability through retail, internal, and wholesale parts sales
  • Establish department objectives and pursue them via planning, organizing, controlling, and performance measurement
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to staff
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Improve operational effectiveness by developing processes and creating innovative improvements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and KPIs
  • Manage departmental budget
  • Monitor workflow and intervene as needed
  • Collaborate with Service and Sales departments for cross-marketing
  • Monitor customer base and develop strategies to increase clients and satisfaction
  • Order parts meeting standards; source cost-effective suppliers
  • Plan promotions, manage inventory, and oversee return processes
  • Handle back-orders and inventory cycle counts

About you…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in vehicle sales and operational management, including:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Parts Manager
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., CDK/Reynolds)
  • Experience managing inventory systems
  • 3 years experience developing and managing staff performance
  • Strong business acumen
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • Ability to adapt and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work independently and motivated to excel
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to quality work
