Parts Manager

Agriterra Equipment is one of North America’s largest AGCO dealers. Representing exceptional brands, including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Bourgault, Morris, and Cub Cadet. Agriterra is also the first authorized sales and service centre for CAT agricultural products in North America. We have grown from 3 locations (in 2013) to 10 and have been consistently in AGCO North America’s Circle of Excellence Top 20 dealer group.

We are looking for an exceptional Parts Manager to join our team in Stony Plain, AB. This role will be key to growing our parts business, leading our parts team, managing inventory and delivering an exceptional client experience.

What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

  • Leading a team of Parts Technicians, providing training and coaching to develop the team.
  • Monitoring department goals and budgets to stay on track.
  • Annual budgeting, in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
  • Developing strategies to grow the parts business and collaborating with the Branch Manager.
  • Working with the team to create marketing plans to help increase sales.
  • Merchandising the showroom to showcase our products.
  • Managing and optimizing inventory levels based on part sales history and trends.
  • Coordinating the parts team to complete inventory counts and assisting as needed.
  • Assisting customers on the parts counter as needed.
  • Resolving customer concerns or inquiries.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a senior Parts Technician, Parts Lead Hand, Parts Supervisor, Parts Manager, Product Support Sales Representative (with a background in the parts department) or similar position related to Parts Management.
  • An understanding of the agriculture business would be preferred.
  • Great leadership skills to effectively lead a team to achieve goals.
  • A demonstrated track record of growing a parts business or the ability to learn financials and grow a business.
