The Opportunity

Nu Edge is seeking a skilled Parts Manager to join our expanding team. We are looking for an experienced parts person with proven management experience to lead the parts department and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving safety, service, and financial goals through effective leadership, innovation, and process optimization.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee safe, productive, and timely execution of warehouse and inventory control operations.
  2. Process job-specific parts orders and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely parts flow through the warehouse.
  3. Optimize Parts Department processes for internal customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate with Operations & Service Managers to ensure a quick turnaround of parts for internal jobs.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  6. Maintain relevant documentation for purchases, returns, and maintenance.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts for field jobs to minimize project delays.
  8. Source and order external parts with a focus on quality and lead time with a focus on fiscal responsibility.
  9. Communicate professionally with customers and shop personnel.
Qualifications
  1. Journeyman Parts Person or working towards would be an asset.
  2. WHMIS and forklift certification are an asset.
  3. Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge.
  4. 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  5. Class 1, 3 or 5 Driver’s License, and Clean 3 Year Drivers Abstract.

  4. Able to perform physically demanding work that may include carrying heavy objects and using various equipment.

The salary range for this position is $26-$30 per hour. Nu Edge offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
