Job description

Parts Manager

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Manager for our Brossard Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for the management of parts operations and personnel to maximize returns on investment through optimizing departmental processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage parts inventory: Oversee all aspects of parts inventory within the parts system.
  2. Optimize processes: Improve Parts Department workflows to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  3. Drive sales: Grow profitable parts sales and develop annual parts sales business plans and budgets, supporting other Brandt branches.
  4. Coordinate paperwork: Ensure a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
  5. Collaborate with teams: Work with Operations & Service Managers to ensure timely turnaround of parts for internal jobs.
  6. Analyze and improve: Review departmental operations and storage layouts, revising them as needed for maximum effectiveness.
  7. Build a high-performing team: Hire, train, coach, mentor, and manage performance in a safe environment.
  8. Control expenses: Exercise disciplined expense management.
  9. Ensure customer service: Provide superior internal and external parts customer service by staffing accordingly during business hours.
  10. Source parts: Collaborate with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts.
  11. Support sales efforts: Work with Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities.
  12. Other duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
