Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Job Functions:

• Support all parts functions including parts sales, sourcing and ordering used parts, inventory control
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through front counter sales and shop parts sales
• Pull customer and branch parts orders, process parts credits, and conduct core inspections
• Sort and bin incoming stock, pack and label parts orders for shipment
• Participate in parts-related special projects and initiatives, including call quality and performance improvements
• Support all Health and Safety activities
• Engage in Employee Experience Survey (ESS) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) activities

Other functions may include but are not limited to:

• NEP sourcing of CAT and non-CAT parts
• Hydraulic Hose building
• Procurement of non-CAT parts
• Managing backordered parts

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyperson Parts Certification with experience in parts, warehouse, front counter, sales, and Caterpillar product knowledge
• Knowledge of forestry and mining is an asset
• Positive attitude and ability to build respectful relationships
• Enthusiasm for work and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
• Ability to handle difficult situations and customers
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy and experience with relevant software (SIS, AIMS, Antares, etc.)
• Experience in mining, heavy construction, and technology products is a strong asset

Candidate selection will comply with the current collective agreement.

Union Membership: Membership is required immediately, with dues deducted from pay. Employment terms are governed by the collective agreement.
