Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a full-time person to join our parts team, with the opportunity to be successful and grow within our company. This person will need to have experience working in or managing a parts department. Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts person will assist with all needs of the Parts Department at Headwater Equipment Sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the inventory of stock in an organized manner
  • Assist in the Headwater yard and warehouse as needed
  • Stocking and pulling parts from the warehouse
  • Shipping and receiving of parts
  • Maintain the sales of parts
  • Adhering to customers’ needs in the office, via phone and email

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working in a Parts department
  • Parts person ticket a asset but not required
  • Must speak, read and write English
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal demerits and no suspensions, DUI's or distracted driving offenses
  • Ability to operate equipment (i.e., forklift, Telehandler, skid steer) with training provided by Headwater
  • Strong time management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Conscientious and a fast learner
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of projects and tasks
  • Sales and customer service abilities
  • Reliable, punctual and dependable
  • Professional attitude and willing to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to our code of conduct, company values and procedures

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Located in an office environment
  • 8-hour work day, Monday to Friday
  • Routinely required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
