Position Purpose:

Plan, organize, and oversee distribution operations to ensure efficiency and profitability, while complying with policies and regulations. Achieve key performance metrics, deliver excellent customer service, and foster positive employee relations.

Primary Duties:

  • Lead operations to meet or exceed KPIs related to quality, productivity, safety, etc.
  • Develop and control expense and capital plans for the distribution center.
  • Promote a high-performance work environment with employee empowerment and open communication.
  • Mentor staff to achieve operational excellence and customer service standards.
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees, sales, dealers, HR, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee hiring, job postings, and employee onboarding processes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, safety, security, and inventory controls.
  • Stay informed of technological advancements and recommend improvements.
  • Optimize space, equipment, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with HR, safety, environmental, and security policies.
  • Manage transportation providers and evaluate their performance.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and develop incentive programs.
  • Ensure all training requirements are met.
