With 16 locations in Ontario and almost 600 employees and growing, we are looking for top talent to join our team.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Counterperson is responsible for selling commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter or by phone. This is a full-time position at our Rush Truck Bus Centres of Canada located at 542 Main Street, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
  • Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
  • Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
  • Participate in all training programs that are made available.
  • Keep current on new products and product updates.
  • Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment
  • Bilingualism (English-French) - French-speaking is a requirement
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
  • Criminal Record Check
