Equipment World Inc. in Thunder Bay, Ontario is seeking a dynamic Parts Coordinator to join our team. You will manage parts inventories, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the Service team to ensure timely part delivery.

The role is full-time and in-person, with a 40-hour week, offering competitive pay and benefits. We value organization, reliability and strong computer skills for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Organized and computer proficient with experience in customer service in an industrial or automotive parts department.
• Experience with inventory management and replenishment processes is preferred.
• Ability to interact with suppliers and customers via phone, email, and in person.

Responsabilités

• Estimate and quote prices, credits, warranties and delivery dates of product and research where needed.
• Process requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal/external use.
• Manage local and vendor-specific purchase orders and track orders.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare billing information for invoicing and generate work orders for parts on order.
• Coordinate with Service team to align part requirements and expedite orders.
• Assist with daily cycle counts and inventory control.
• Interact with suppliers, coworkers and customers to ensure parts availability.

Are you passionate about parts? Do you have experience in parts management or a knack for mechanics? If so, Equipment World in Thunder Bay, Ontario wants to hear from you! We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to become a vital member of our team.

Duties

• Estimate and quote prices, credits, warranties and delivery dates of product (including research of same)
• Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal/external usage (including part requisitions)
• Manage all local and vendor specific (part) purchase orders
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse, supply room or other area
• Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual and computerized SAGE inventory system
• Prepare and requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
• Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies as requiredAdvise customers or internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested
• Update, transfer and maintain accurate customer information on equipment line card
• Maintain adequate stock of parts required for the P.M. Fleet schedule
• Assist with managing part maintenance of internal rental equipment
• Prepare billing information for invoicing – generate and track computerized work orders for parts on order
• Manage purchase orders relating to parts / expediting of orders by working in conjunction with Service team to coordinate part requirements
• Assist and manage inventory control and daily cycle counts
• Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
• Use of dealer and manufacturer online portals ie Toyota, Bobcat, Genie etc
• Interact with suppliers, coworkers, management and customers via phone, electronic mail, and in person
• Contribute to overall success of the company
• Actively contribute to team environment

The ideal candidate will be organized and computer proficient with experience in customer service in an industrial or automotive parts department.
