Parts Advisor
McQuarrie Motor Products Inc. is seeking an experienced and professional Parts and Service Advisor. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience in this role. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Assists all service department customers (shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Provides assistance to retail and wholesale customers when needed by answering phone calls, providing price quotes and notifying the service advisor or customer when special ordered parts have been received.
- Ensures proper pricing on parts purchased through emergency orders, or dealers.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Attends training programs to gain required skills or certification.
- Assists in annual physical inventory.
- Performs other required duties as required by department managers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Automotive dealership or similar experience a definite asset.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Additional Pay:
- Bonus pay.

Schedule:
8 hour shift.
Ability to Commute/Relocate:
Gore Bay, ON P0P 1H0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Experience:
- Service advisor: 1 year (preferred).
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred).
