Parts Advisor

McQuarrie Motor Products Inc. is seeking an experienced and professional Parts and Service Advisor. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience in this role. This individual is passionate, professional, has a positive attitude, and shares our obsession with customer service. If this sounds like you, come join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Pulls and fills orders from stock.
2. Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
3. Assists all service department customers (shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
4. Provides assistance to retail and wholesale customers when needed by answering phone calls, providing price quotes and notifying the service advisor or customer when special ordered parts have been received.
5. Ensures proper pricing on parts purchased through emergency orders, or dealers.
6. Keeps current on new products and product updates.
7. Attends training programs to gain required skills or certification.
8. Assists in annual physical inventory.
9. Performs other required duties as required by department managers.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. Automotive dealership or similar experience a definite asset.
3. Valid Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Additional Pay:

1. Bonus pay.
2. Commission pay.
3. Overtime pay.

Schedule:

8 hour shift.

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Gore Bay, ON P0P 1H0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).

Experience:

1. Service advisor: 1 year (preferred).
2. Customer service: 1 year (preferred).
