Doane Grant Thornton, a leading Canadian professional services firm, seeks a senior partner to lead the Forensics and Advisory Services practice. You will shape strategy, drive growth, and deliver integrated client value across service lines, while guiding a team of senior professionals.

As a trusted leader, you will originate major engagements, build and maintain relationships with executives and boards, and champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and integrity across Canada.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership in professional services with forensic investigations, disputes, and AML engagements.
  • Experience providing expert testimony across courts and forums is preferred.
  • Proven ability to grow a practice through client relationships and market insight.

Key Requirements
Education
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s or advanced level degree (Masters) and professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • Completion of a specialist designation program such as Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist among others
Experience and Attributes
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a professional services environment, with demonstrated leadership in conducting financial investigations, forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud-related dispute resolution, and AML related engagements
  • Established experience providing expert testimony across courts and other forums
  • Proven success growing a practice through relationship development, market insight, and actively anticipating client and market needs
  • Proven ability to lead complex client engagements at both local and national levels
  • Strong people leader with experience developing advisory teams, coaching talent, and collaborating closely with clients and colleagues, and maintains a high standard to quality, excellence, and continuous professional development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust with clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision-makers
  • Desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a team that puts “we before me”, where agility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back
