Partner Business Manager

The Dealer Business Manager (DBM) will obtain/retain customers on the Rogers Network by working closely with their Rogers’ internal channel stakeholders and influencing our partners in the Channel (Principals/Outbound Sales Managers and Outbound Sales Representatives). The DBM will collaborate with Rogers partners to create sales tactics to increase productivity, market share, and solution sales in the Small & Medium Business segment in Ontario.

What you'll be Doing:

  • Drive SMB sales and market share in Ontario.
  • Collaborate with Partners and create strategic territory plans focusing on growing small business and increasing sales culture in partner sales teams.
  • Engage in Business Development across Vertical and Horizontal industries, selling Wireless services and developing opportunities in Wireline, Solutions, and M2M space.
  • Work with Rogers Head Office to ensure tactical initiatives align with national priorities.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, leadership, and development to sales employees to improve their skills and meet quotas.
  • Manage resolution of sensitive customer requests and issues.
  • Maximize effectiveness of national and regional programs.
  • Plan and execute SMB marketing programs and customer events with regional marketing.
  • Manage the sales process flow for outbound representatives, including pricing, toolkit approvals, credit approvals, ECAs, PRT submissions, new product introductions, and escalations.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new dealer SMB hires, including devising a 90-day training and accountability plan.
  • Prepare Monthly Reporting Requirements, including dealer scorecards and custom reports.
  • Manage incentives with innovation and communication to create excitement and rigor.
  • Ensure consistent funnel management via Salesforce reporting and adoption.
  • Provide guidance and support to Sales Coordinators.
  • Some travel may be required (up to 50%).

What you will Bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in Wireless industry.
  • Post-secondary education in business or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in direct sales to businesses of various sizes.
  • Ability to coach and motivate a team (channel management preferred but not required).
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting business objectives.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three days a week.
