We are looking for a Participant Coordinator to join our growing team! This position is short-term (1.5 - 2 months) and on-site in Newark, NJ.

Role - Participant Coordinator

Location - Newark, NJ (on-site)

Qualitest is seeking a Participant Coordinator to work from our client site in Newark, NJ. Our company’s focus is on ground truth data collection techniques to capture various types of data relating to humans, speech and spaces to enable quality Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms. A successful participant coordinator will possess an innate ability to think creatively, explore unconventional options and deliver innovative strategies to recruit participants for our various ground truth data collection initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Participant Coordinator will support data collection initiatives for our team. This person will be responsible for assisting in participant recruitment and management strategies for our ground truth practice. These include building out a database of local and national participants meeting various demographic criteria of all ages. They will design, develop and implement social media campaigns to recruit new participants including individuals and families in various geographies.

They will create and manage relationships with alternative recruitment channels and vendors and create heat maps around the world based on demographics.

The person in this position will be involved in all data collection projects from inception to conclusion to ensure that the research project meets participant goals.

This person must be exceptionally comfortable working in a team environment. The long-term goal is to have a national and international participant database categorized by demographics and other frequently requested client criteria that can be summoned to any of our data collection projects.

Tactical Responsibilities In Addition To The Above Include

  • Schedule participants for research sessions
  • Communicate with candidates about logistical details and guiding them through the research process
  • Ensure compensation is delivered
  • Handle NDA creation and collection
  • Create and track and log participants in a centralized database
  • Work collaboratively with participant recruiting, research program managers and research teams

Experience Required

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, strong follow through and a can-do problem-solving attitude.

Technology skills include operational PC/Mac skills, Excel/Word and some development prowess. Prior experience in a field directly relatable to the above skill requirements. There are many pathways to this position but prior experience in event coordination, human recruitment strategies and community involvement is highly desired.

  • A passion for technology is a bonus
  • Operational PC/Mac skills with Microsoft Suite experience is required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience is required
