Job summary

Tofino Ucluelet Culinary Guild in Tofino, BC is hiring a Part Time Warehouse and Customer Service Support role. This position offers 15 hours per week with shifts Wednesday 11-7 and Thursday 10-6, based at our Industrial Way warehouse.

You will help pack and ship orders, deliver to restaurants and retailers, and liaise with customers during deliveries and pickups. The role requires a BC driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong communication, problem solving, and customer service

Qualifications

• Must have a BC driver's license in good standing and be able to drive delivery vans
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong communication, problem solving and customer service skills
• Willing to learn and work hard

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly farm direct food distribution including organizing, packing boxes for commercial accounts and individual households
• Assist with shipping and receiving and keeping the warehouse organized
• Deliver produce, meat, and specialty goods orders to restaurants, resorts, businesses, grocery stores
• Liaise with customers during deliveries and customer pickups

What you need to know:

• Based out of our Tofino warehouse on Industrial Way
• 15 hours a week
• 8 hour shifts Wednesday (11-7), Thursday (10-6)
• $22-$24, based on experience
• Staff lunch provided (Wed/Thurs)

Who We Are Looking For:

• Consistent physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes and can lift up to 50 pounds regularly - Please advise us if you have any reoccurring injuries and how youhave overcome the injuries in the past
• Must have a. BC driver’s license in good standing and be able to drive our delivery vans
• This role requires great communication, problem solving, and customer service skills Customer
• Willing to learn and work hard
• Past experience in any of these areas would be an asset: delivery driver, customer service, picking and packing, shipping and receiving

What You Will Be Doing:
