Job summary

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Powell River Thrift Shop is seeking a part-time Thrift Shop Associate to assist in receiving, pricing, stocking and merchandising donated goods while delivering friendly customer service. You will work with volunteers and staff in a fast-paced retail setting, helping maintain shop standards and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant thrift, customer service and/or retail experience
• Knowledge of the second-hand merchandise market is an asset

Responsibilities

• Back-of-house: receiving donations, warehousing, sorting, pricing and staging
• Front-of-house: customer service, cash handling, stocking inventory and merchandising
• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to maintain shop standards and safety
• Support store operations and ensure a welcoming, Christian workplace culture
