Position Overview

The Teller contributes to the success of a Retail Banking Center by ensuring banker-readiness, accurately processing transactions, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining operational discipline. The role involves occasional evening and Saturday hours, with potential temporary shifts at other banking locations based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities
Customer Experience
  • Introduce and refer customers to the platform during routine interactions
  • Provide exceptional service, resolve problems, handle routine requests, and complete necessary documentation
  • Complete Comerica's Teller Training Program
  • Follow policies, procedures, regulations, and security guidelines
  • Document and reconcile transactions accurately
  • Maintain confidentiality and resolve customer complaints effectively
Marketing Activities
  • Complete daily planning activities
  • Act as a digital ambassador, guiding customers to digital solutions
  • Engage customers with products and services, follow up promptly
Operational Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Complete required compliance training
  • Adhere to risk assessment and mitigation procedures
Partnership Development
  • Enhance collaboration within the Banking Center
  • Identify opportunities to add value through partnerships
Qualifications
  • 6 months retail or financial sales experience, 2 years U.S. Military service, or 1 year of college
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Experience with personal computers, data entry, or internet search
  • Preferred: Cash handling experience, proficiency with computer systems
Additional Details

Work Schedule: Category A - 100% in-office hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday. Salary: To be determined based on experience.
