Moores Clothing for Men, a division of Tailored Brands, is seeking a part-time Retail Store Tailor-Alterations in Red Deer, AB. You will greet customers, assist with fittings, and apply alterations to ensure a perfect look and comfortable feel.

You will mark, tailor, and press garments, maintain an organized tailor shop, and help teammates while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. Formal tailoring training or menswear experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the selling process by greeting, interacting with customers regarding special requests.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure proper fit.
• Answer customer questions and offer wardrobe suggestions.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press as needed.
• Maintain an organized tailor shop and assist team members.
• Help customers be properly sized and keep the work area clean.
• Collaborate with management to support store goals.

RETAIL STORE TAILOR-ALTERATIONS

Provide positive input and valuable assistance throughout the entire customer experience to ensure that each guest is satisfied and receives a final product that is customized to look attractive, fit well, and feel just right.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

• You will have the opportunity to assist in the selling process by greeting, interacting with, and responding to customers regarding any special requests they may have.
• In addition, you'll use your extensive knowledge of alterations and passion for providing excellent service to expertly mark, alter, and press the garments our customers select.
• Ensure the proper fit of garments
• Answer customer questions
• Mark garments for tailoring
• Press garments
• Maintain an open dialogue with management
• Help other team members
• Help to keep the tailor shop clean and organized
• Make sure that customers are properly sized
• Offer new wardrobe ensemble suggestions

WHAT IT TAKES

• Formal training for tailoring preferred
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred
• Good technical skill
• Sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Team attitude and enthusiasm
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing

Pay Range: $17.13 - $22.28/hr

We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable
