Job summary

Moores Clothing for Men, a division of Tailored Brands, is seeking a dedicated tailor-alterations associate in a facially focused retail environment. You will greet customers, discuss alterations, and expertly mark, tailor, and press garments to ensure an ideal fit and finish.

The role emphasizes strong communication with guests, precise alterations of men’s tailored clothing, and teamwork to keep the shop organized and efficient while delivering a superior shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Good technical skill.
• Sound knowledge of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men’s tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selling process by greeting and responding to customers with special requests.
• Mark, alter and press garments to ensure proper fit and appearance.
• Answer customer questions and provide wardrobe suggestions.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the tailor shop.
• Ensure customers are properly sized and fitted by skilled alterations.
• Support other team members and management as needed.
