A ski resort organization is seeking enthusiastic part-time Snow School Instructors at Manning Park Resort. Looking to improve on your skiing/riding skills? Want to help others enjoy the winter months through skiing or snowboarding? Come join our team of passionate and dedicated part time instructors and enjoy the best snow conditions that the Cascade Mountains has to offer. Manning Park Resort is halfway between Hope and Princeton, BC. If you are ready to join a quiet, client-experience centered ski hill, come join our team of part time instructors.

We are presently searching for our next great part-time team member as aSnow School Instructorto join ourSnow School team.If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Instruct and coach guests of all ages and abilities to ski or snowboard in a group or one-on-one setting.

* Properly assess students for their ability and place them in the appropriate groups.

* Set up and take down lesson equipment.

* Adherence and teaching of the Alpine Responsibility Code
* Helping with distributing pre-set rentals for school groups.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* Minimum level 1 or higher of Canadian-recognized Ski or Snowboard Instructor Certification is considered an asset. (Courses offered at Manning Park throughout the season)

* Willingness and availability to participate in the MPR in-house Snowsports introduction training course If you do not have a Canadian recognized Ski or Snowboard Instructor Certification.

* Dual certification is an asset.

* A minimum of intermediate ski/snowboard ability

* Knowledge of the Alpine Responsibility Code

* Strong customer service skills

* Must have their own equipment

* Previous knowledge of the ski area is an asset
