Job summary

FedEx Express Canada is seeking an interview-position team member to load/unload freight, scan and sort packages, and transport items between facilities. The role includes operating shuttle functions with a non-articulated vehicle and ensuring safety and security of shipments.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, a valid Class 5/Class G license with a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs or handle up to 150 lbs with assistance. In Quebec, bilingualism is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5/Class G license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs or maneuver up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Knowledge of FedEx Express Canada operations and Canadian customs an asset.
• Bilingual (French and English) if working in Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight and containers.
• Scan, sort, and transport freight within/between facilities.
• Operate shuttle functions with non-articulated vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections as required.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protect company property.
• Follow temperature control procedures when required.
• May be required to make deliveries on an emergency basis (up to 10%).
