Job Description

We are hiring a Server to work in our bright and welcoming dining room. The role involves supporting the setup of the dining area, serving residents, and managing cleanup related to dining services. We believe mealtime is more than just food; it’s about friends, family, and memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve meals to residents and guests courteously and professionally;
2. Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required;
3. Assist with cleaning dishware and cutlery after each service;
4. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas;
5. Participate in catering and special events;
6. Assist in training new culinary staff;
7. Follow health and safety regulations and departmental procedures;
8. Respect Resident Rights & Responsibilities;
9. Attend training and staff meetings as required;
10. Participate in the Quality Improvement Program;
11. Uphold the organization’s values and Code of Conduct;
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service and working with seniors preferred;
• Ability to lift heavy, hot items and stand/walk for most of the shift;
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset;
• Current (within 6 months) VPS screening or willingness to obtain one upon hire;
