We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time School Counselor with strong experience in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) system.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise students and families on graduation pathways, PLAR, equivalency, and course planning aligned with OSSD requirements
• Assist with university preparation , OUAC applications, and credit tracking
• Coordinate PLAR assessments , community involvement documentation, and OSSLT / OLC4O guidance
• Evaluate out-of-province and international transcripts for credit equivalency
• Support students with course selection and post-secondary goals
• Collaborate with Edukos Academy staff and administration to ensure academic compliance and student success

Qualifications

• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) or related guidance / counseling background strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of OSSD graduation requirements, PLAR (equivalency and challenge), and U / M course prerequisites
• Experience working with international or transfer students is an asset
• Familiarity with OUAC, OSR documentation, and post-secondary admission advising
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfort working in a remote / virtual environment
• Part-time (flexible hours, 5–10 hours per week to start)
• Remote / virtual role, with periodic team check-ins
• Hourly compensation based on experience
