Job summary

First Student, Inc. is now hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in Timmins, ON. You will start the day with morning pickup and end with the afternoon return, with no nights or weekends required.

Enjoy a $22.67 hourly rate, a $1,500 sign-on bonus for G and B licensed drivers, and guaranteed minimum hours. Training is provided to help you become a safe and professional driver in our large network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid G license for at least 1 year.
• Customer service and safety-conscious mindset are important.
• Part-time schedule with summers off is expected.
• No prior driving experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and exiting at stops and assist students with seatbelts.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays or behavior.
