Job summary

Kin's Farm Market in Delta, BC, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for our Ladner-Delta location. You will greet customers, answer questions, and operate the checkout while keeping displays fresh and stocked.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, promoting seasonal items, and resolving issues while maintaining the store image per Kin's policies. Food Safe or First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Ability to memorize PLU codes.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. periodically.

As a Sales Associate,your responsibilities are:

• Maintaining the company andstore image according to Kin's policies and procedures;
• Greeting customers and creatinga friendly shopping atmosphere;
• Providing information tocustomers and answering their questions and inquiries about products,procedures or policies;
• Operating cash registers, pointof sale equipment and other equipment for processing transactions;
• Ensuring displays are full atall times and shelves are stocked with good quality products in allsections;
• Promoting products, such asseasonal items or specials, by performing product promotions to customersthrough sampling (and cooking demonstration, if required) and closes thesale;
• Resolving problems that mayarise such as customer complaints and supply shortages;
• Receiving, unloading andunpacking products and counting, weighing and sorting them according tocompany receiving procedures.
