Job description

The part-time Sales Associate role is an on-site position based in Mississauga, ON. At the Erin Mills town centre location. The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, providing knowledgeable product recommendations, and delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with fitting and sizing, processing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The role also involves restocking inventory, keeping the sales floor and backroom organized, and supporting promotional activities and store events as needed. Team members collaborate closely with colleagues and store leadership to meet sales goals and uphold company service standards.

Qualifications:

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, identify needs, and recommend suitable products.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills, with attention to accuracy and efficiency during transactions.
• Basic merchandising and inventory organization skills, such as replenishing stock, maintaining displays, and keeping the store tidy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and adapt to shifting priorities and store traffic.
• Previous experience in retail or fashion footwear/apparel is an asset but not required.
• Availability to work flexible part-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
