Qualifications

• Must possess a license with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
• Two to three years of clinical experience.
• Primary care experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of and working experience with computer systems and applications.
• Honed patient assessment and triage skills; telephone triage is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of the health team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient oriented nursing care in accordance with nursing standards.
• Communicate with the health care team and participate in problem solving.
• Triage incoming patient calls and assess health needs; discuss test results.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for follow-ups and immunizations.
