The Beer Store in Sarnia, Ontario is hiring for Part-Time Retail Staff. We seek energetic individuals who share a commitment to customer service and a positive shopping experience.

In this unionized role you will serve customers, process payments, and follow health and safety procedures. The position requires weekend availability and a high school diploma or GED. Wages start at $18.30 per hour with increases per the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience.

Responsibilities

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Sarnia, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

Location

A Retail Location in Sarnia, ON.

What You'll Be Doing

• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $18.30 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
