Job summary

Encore is seeking a Part Time Retail Sales Representative for the South Shore, QC area. This 8-week contract involves 14 hours per week, with on-the-road responsibilities and a focus on driving sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will identify business development opportunities, nurture client relationships, introduce new products and promotions, and ensure accurate shelf execution. A strong drive, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set territory goals with the Manager and develop strategies to meet targets.
• Develop customer relations to become a trusted advisor.
• Introduce new products and promotional events into the market.
• Solicit orders for account bookings and allocations.
• Close distribution gaps by ensuring correct shelf tags per planograms.
• Ensure supply availability through merchandising and inventory checks.
• Negotiate display space and build Gold Standard displays.
• Use sales tools to identify opportunities and gaps and plan actions.
• Provide feedback on retail conditions and issues as encountered.
• Other duties as required.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:

• Work with your Manager to setterritory goals based on company objectives and develop strategies to meet and/or establishedtarget by:
• Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisor
• Introducing new products and promotional events into the market
• Leveraging selling skills to solicit orders for account Bookings and Allocation
• Closing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listing & store planograms
• Ensuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory status
• Negotiating space for and building Gold Standard displays to maximize points of interruption as well as confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementations
• Using sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps anddetermine action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territory
• Recognizing and utilizing regional sales trends in order to maximize in-store performance
• Providing feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encountered
• Other duties as required

Your Experience:

• Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Amazing relationship building skills
• Strong selling skills

• Positive attitude and a growth mindset
• Excellent problem-solving skills are essential
• Careful strategic planning and ability to self-support with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
