Job summary

Merchandising Consultants Associates in Salmon Arm, BC is seeking a part-time, on-site Merchandiser to support our clients with planograms, displays, and inventory checks.

The ideal candidate reads planograms, uses smartphone imaging apps, and works independently with reliability. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred, with roughly 4 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience with planograms and in-store merchandising is preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with using smartphone imaging apps for reporting.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in a client-facing role.
• Valid driver's license and access to insured vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and arrange product displays according to client planograms and branding standards.
• Build, modify, and dismantle displays while ensuring high-quality visuals.
• Ensure on-shelf product availability and proper stock arrangement.
• Install signage and complete merchandising tasks as required by clients.
• Complete online reports, upload photos, and provide regular updates.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and represent MCA professionally.
• Utilize imaging apps and scanning tech to collect retail data.

Merchandising Consultants Associates

Wage: $18.50 per hour
Hours: Approximately 4 hours per week
Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, but offers flexibility

• Setting up attractive product displays and arrange products following detailed planograms, ensuring product visibility and brand representation are optimized.
• Building, modifying, and dismantling product displays while strictly adhering to the client’s quality and branding standards.
• Ensuring that the clients' products are well-stocked, properly arranged, and ready for customer purchase.
• Installing eye-catching signage and performing additional merchandising services as required by the Company’s clients.
• To keep all stakeholders informed by completing online reports, uploading photos, and providing regular updates.
• Forming and maintain strong, influential relationships with clients, acting as a key representative for the Company and building trust to foster long-term partnerships.
• Utilizing advanced image recognition apps and scanning technology to collect valuable retail data.
