Qualifications

• Smart Serve certification is required.
• Experience in banquet, catering, or high-volume service is an asset.
• Strong guest-facing communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests and guides them through their dining experience.
• Answers questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings.
• Takes food and beverage orders and enters them into the POS system.
• Delivers orders promptly while maintaining presentation and timing standards.
• Checks in with guests and addresses concerns in a timely manner.
• Processes cash, debit, and credit transactions.
• Assists with basic bartending tasks as needed.
• Keeps service areas clean and organized.
• Communicates with kitchen, bar, and service teams.
• Follows directions from the Restaurant Manager and supports daily operations.

What you will be doing: As a Restaurant Server, you’ll help make every visit welcoming and memorable through attentive service, strong menu knowledge, and genuine connection with guests.

Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming guests and guiding them through their dining experience with care and confidence Answering questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings Taking food and beverage orders and entering them into the POS system Delivering orders promptly while maintaining presentation and timing standards Checking in with guests and addressing concerns in a timely manner Processing cash, debit, and credit transactions Helping with basic bartending tasks, such as preparing drinks and garnishes, as needed Keeping service areas clean and organized Communicating with kitchen, bar, and service teams Following directions from the Restaurant Manager and contributing to daily operations Performing additional duties as assigned to support the success of the restaurant The Spark You Bring to Every Celebration Experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or high-volume service is an asset Smart Serve certification (required) Availability for daytime lunch shifts is required A natural ability to connect with guests and provide warm, attentive service Strong communication skills and confidence working with guests and team members The ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment A guest-first mindset and a passion for creating memorable experiences A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed Why Work for Carmens Group?
