Overview

A reputable tutoring / education establishment is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time English and reading tutor.

Responsibilities

• Teach English foundations in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Teach groups of up to 3 students with exceptional classroom management skills.
• Be available for in-person lessons for a minimum of two days between Tuesday–Thursday, 1:00–8:00 pm and Saturdays, 9:00 am–2:00 pm.

Qualifications

• A Certified Teacher is preferred.
• Previous experience working with students is required.
• Candidates in Teachers College or a university designation are encouraged to apply.
• Early Childhood Education experience would be an asset.
• TESOL Certification would be an asset.
• Excellent English oral and written skills.
• A passion to help students reach their potential.
• Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.
