Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet vocational standards established by the Ontario authorities.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and basic sanitation.
• Ability to document care and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring resident care according to care plans.
• Document care information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assist onboarding of new staff and follow IPAC policies.
