Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard for a manufacturing facility in Leduc, Alberta. The role involves controlling site access, patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and documenting daily activity logs.

The candidate must have 1–2 years of security experience, Alberta Security Services Worker Licence, a Class 5 Driver's Licence, and First Aid/ CPR certification. Hours include weekends and night shifts with a 24–25 CAD hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of security experience in corporate/commercial environments.
• Alberta Security Services Worker Licence is required.
• Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean record.
• First Aid & CPR Certification.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Willingness to work up to 40 hours per week, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with CCTV, access control and alarm monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control access and admittance to the site and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Screen employees, visitors and contractors entering the property.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, parking areas and other access points.
• Operate gates and access control equipment.
• Conduct routine site patrols and check for safety hazards.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security incidents.
• Prepare accurate security logs and incident reports.
• Respond to emergencies per site procedures.
