Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part Time Merchandise Manager in Winnipeg, MB. You will assist in leading merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, stock moves, planogram compliance and visual standards. The role supports a busy, customer-focused environment with weekend and early-morning shifts.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, coordinating pricing, promotions, and Ship-from-Store tasks while coaching team members and ensuring in-stock readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to lead and manage SOPs and company programs
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills
• Experience with planograms and visual merchandising standards

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution
• Lead truck unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to sales floor
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership
• Oversee in-stock optimization, replenishment accuracy and sales readiness
• Manage planogram execution and visual merchandising standards
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor
• Handle inventory control, stock movement and periodic shifts
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes and ship-from-store fulfillment
• Train and coach team members across assigned departments
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction
