Job summary

Merchandising Consultants Associates (MCA) seeks reliable Merchandising Representatives to support a Direct Store Delivery program in big box retailers. You will manage shelves and displays after deliveries, helping sales through organized, well-stocked layouts on a fast-paced retail floor.

As an independent contractor, you will work with multiple vendors and store staff, requiring safety-minded, organized communication.

Qualifications

• Applicants must reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or merchandising environments is preferred.
• Physically able to lift, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.
• Communicate confidently with store management, staff and other vendors.
• Own a reliable, insured vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and replenishing products following DSD deliveries.
• Rotating product to ensure freshness and quality.
• Building and maintaining displays and promotional signage.
• Monitoring inventory levels.
• Processing damaged, expired, and unsaleable products.
• Ensuring products are neatly arranged and ready for customers.
• Using smartphone apps to collect data, take photos, and complete reports.

About the Role

We are currently looking for reliable, energetic Merchandising Representatives to support a leading manufacturer's Direct Store Delivery (DSD) program in big box retail stores. In this role, you will work directly with the client's products after they have been delivered to the store, maintaining organized, well-stocked shelves and displays that support sales.

This is a fast-paced, physical role in a busy retail environment where multiple vendors, store employees, and deliveries happen simultaneously. Being able to work safely, stay organized, and communicate effectively is essential. Steel toed shoes/boots are required on site.
