Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Sidney, BC, is seeking a team member to support merchandising, receiving and customer service duties in a busy retail environment.

You will organize backroom products, process receipts and returns, maintain displays and assist customers while upholding store standards and safety guidelines. Flexible shifts may include nights and weekends to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience or comfort with point-of-sale
• Strong organizational skills and neat record-keeping
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently in a retail setting
• Self-motivated and reliable team member

Responsibilities

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
• Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks
• Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed
• Maintain expert knowledge of inventory, placement and expiry dates
• Ensure store image and displays meet brand standards and are shopper friendly
• Assist with receiving merchandise and documenting receipts/returns
• Provide customer service with a clean, approachable presence on the floor
• Follow health, safety, and loss prevention policies
