Job summary

A leading distributor of books and magazines in Ontario is seeking a reliable, self-motivated merchandiser for in-store displays in Perth. This part-time role (3.75 hours/week) involves following planograms, ensuring promotions are correctly set up, and maintaining a tidy work area. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and time management skills, and must provide their own transportation. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, self-motivated, and reliable individuals are preferred.
• Must have access to a smartphone and internet.
• Own transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate.
• Ensure promotional set-ups and signage meet company standards.
• Re-order stock where appropriate.
• Keep the work area tidy and organized.
• Work under the guidance of the Merchandising Supervisor.

We have 1 opening in Perth, ON (3.75 hours/week on Tuesdays) for in-store book and magazine merchandiser. No deliveries required; training will be provided. If you are reliable and able to work independently this could be the job for you! You must have access to a smartphone, internet and have your own transportation.

Duties

• Follow planograms and ensure merchandise displays are accurate and appeasing
• Ensures promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented within a timely manner to company standard
• Re-orders stock where appropriate
• Ensure your work area is kept tidy and organized
• Works under the guidance and takes direction from the Merchandising Supervisor
• Other duties as required
