Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognized MLA program or equivalent required.
• CSMLS/CAMPLR exams completed and CSMLS registration current.
• NSRMLS licensure required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic medical terminology understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-analytical lab tasks: specimen receipt/processing, data entry, media/reagent prep, sterilization, clerical duties, and loading specimens on analyzers.
• Assist with supply management, troubleshooting, and customer service activities.
• Ensure positive patient identification and accurate specimen handling.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed; may work off-site in LTC facilities or community settings.
