We are looking for a creative, strategic Part-Time Marketing Specialist to develop, lead and execute multi-platform marketing for our growing investigations practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who understands the specialized knowledge and professional standards required in the legal and human resources sectors.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and is confident developing content that is both impactful and aligned with our firm’s brand, values, and voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the firm’s business development goals and enhance our thought leadership, and client engagement in the legal and HR sectors.
  • Plan and implement digital campaigns, including SEO, paid media, website updates, video content, etc., in collaboration with internal team members to increase visibility and credibility.
  • Create and manage written and visual content for social media, newsletters, our website, promotional materials, campaigns, etc.
  • Write articles and blogs related to workplace investigations law.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, legal publications, and industry partners to coordinate marketing opportunities, including sponsorship and speaking opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent, professional branding and messaging across all firm materials and touchpoints.
  • Stay current and up to date with trends in legal marketing, workplace investigations, and HR communications.
  • Oversee special projects such as recruitment, holiday campaigns, client gifts, or event mailouts.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and manage tools and platforms (e.g., MailerLite, WordPress, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Analyze campaign performance, engagement metrics and ROI; provide regular reporting and suggestions for optimization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior marketing role which included both strategy and execution. Experience in the legal, HR, or professional services sectors is considered an asset.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Degrees related to Law, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources are considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of professional service marketing and business development strategies.
  • Proven experience using LinkedIn for brand building, recruitment marketing, and thought leadership.
  • Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including CRMs, email marketing systems, and content scheduling software.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Express, WordPress, MailerLite, or comparable platforms is an asset.
  • Part-time: approx. 10–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
  • This is a remote role open to candidates residing in Ontario.
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
