The Ministry of SaskBuilds & Procurement, Mail Services and Records Centre Branch, Weyburn, has an immediate opening for a Permanent Part-time Postal Clerk located in Weyburn. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m.

– 4:00 p.m., and handles a high volume of mail including sorting, metering and handling of letters, packages and boxes. You will operate postage meter equipment, provide information on rates/regulations, and lift up to 30 kg repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Reads, memoires and recalls codes/locations to sort and meter mail quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 kg and stand for long periods, with exposure to noise/dust in a mail processing environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for in-town deliveries.

Responsabilités

• Sort, meter and handle letters, packages and boxes.
• Process a large volume of incoming/outgoing mail for a client base.
• Operate postage meter equipment and perform routine maintenance.
