Job summary

Red Deer Resort & Casino is seeking a part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of goods, handle deliveries, and ensure inventory accuracy.

The role requires forklift certification, attention to detail, and flexibility to work occasional mornings, evenings, or weekends. Prior experience in shipping/receiving is preferred, with basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving operations preferred.
• Experience in food handling or stock management is an asset.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Receive incoming food shipments and verify quantity and quality against orders.
• Safely store items following food safety guidelines and keep storage areas organized.
• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
