Job summary

Kawartha Dairy Ltd is hiring a Part Time Retail Store Shift Supervisor for our Britannia Beach location. You’ll lead a small team, scoop ice cream, assist customers and help manage store operations with a focus on service and quality.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in restaurant supervision or progressive retail, a friendly attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Uniforms are provided and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in restaurant supervision or progressive retail experience.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scoop ice cream, make milkshakes and assist customers.
• Assist store management with inventory procedures and stock controls.
• Establish and maintain staff work schedules.
• Train staff in exceptional customer service and supervise performance.
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions for staff and customers.
• Monitor and report on personnel practices and policy compliance.
• Follow inspection schedules for equipment and store building.
