The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority is seeking a Home Care Attendant for the Beausejour Hwy 302 Office. You will provide personal and supportive care under the Home Care Resource Coordinator, following care plans to help clients stay independent and safe at home.

Qualifications include a Health Care Aide certificate, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Health Care Aide Course from an accredited college.
• Other combinations of education/experience may be considered at a commensurate classification/salary.
• Previous experience working with elderly or infirm is preferred.
• Ability to provide safe, effective, personal care with respect and privacy.
• Strong communication with clients, families and coworkers; both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a health care team.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the Home Care Resource Coordinator, the Home Care Attendant provides personal and supportive care following the care plan.
• Promotes integrated holistic health care services responsive to residents' needs.
• Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team and supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.
