Job summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a part-time Home Care Attendant to deliver direct client care and environmental support in clients' homes, supporting independence within established standards. This 0.50 FTE role includes day and evening shifts.

You will collaborate with the Home Care team, use Microsoft Office for records, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and respectful, culturally competent care across Prairie Mountain Health.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program.
• Other combinations of suitable education/experience may be considered.
• Province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and IT.
• Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care and environmental support in clients' homes.
• Assist clients to maintain independence and health within standards.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team and respond to changing needs.
• Handle documentation and communication (PHIA/Privacy compliant).
