Cogir Senior Living is hiring a part-time Health Care Aide for night shifts at Our Parents' Home in Edmonton. Qualifications

• Graduate of Health Care Aide program (or provincial equivalent) with practicum hours.
• Experience working with seniors in community health services.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; good time management.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended.
• Vulnerable Sector Check within six months or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the plan of care as directed by supervisor.
• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Escalate emergencies to supervisor or EMS as appropriate.
