Giant Tiger in Thunder Bay, Ontario, is hiring a Hardgoods Associate (Part-Time) to deliver exceptional customer service at the checkout and throughout the store. You will manage transactions, stock shelves, and ensure accurate pricing and signage while following safety and loss-prevention policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash registers, mainline and self checkouts (SCOs).
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
