Job summary

Giant Tiger in Sioux Lookout, Ontario is seeking a friendly Softgoods Associate for a part-time role. You will deliver excellent customer service, handle transactions at registers and SCOs, replenish merchandise, and manage planograms and signing standards.

You’ll also perform cycle counts and ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery policies. The position offers a 35–40 hour weekly expectation for full-time variants and flexible part-time schedules including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Accurately record customer transactions in electronic cash register, mainline and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
• Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keep checkout work area clean and organized.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
