Are you a talented and creative hairstylist looking for a part-time opportunity in a welcoming and supportive environment? Body Beautiful Day Spa + Salon , located in the charming courtyard of St. Andrew's Village in Aurora, is seeking an experienced hairstylist to join our team of beauty and wellness professionals.

About the Opportunity

This is an independent contractor position, commission-based. We are currently looking for availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and some Saturdays, with the opportunity to expand hours as your clientele grows. We\'re looking for someone who is eager to build lasting client relationships and grow alongside our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of hair services, including cuts, colouring, styling, and treatments.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend tailored styles or treatments.
• Give all clients, for any given service, the appropriate retail product recommendations as part of the home care regime for total benefits and long-term results.
• Stay current with hair trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation that reflects our spa\'s high standards.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Contribute to a strong team spirit and positive morale.

Qualifications

• Valid hairstylist license in Ontario.
• Strong skills in cutting, colouring, and styling.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
• A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Previous salon experience is an asset but not mandatory.
