Job summary

Merchandising Consultants Associates in Metro Vancouver, BC is seeking reliable Merchandising Representatives for an Independent Contractor role. You will support a Direct Store Delivery program in big box retail stores, keeping shelves stocked and displays well-presented.

This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring safety, organization, and effective communication. Steel-toed shoes are required on site, and shifts include mornings, afternoons, weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or merchandising environments.
• Physically able to lift, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Reside in Metro Vancouver and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and replenishing products following DSD deliveries.
• Rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Building and maintaining displays and promotional signage.
• Monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Processing damaged, expired, and unsaleable products.
• Ensuring products are neatly arranged and ready for customers.
• Using smartphone apps to collect data, take photos, and complete reports.

Schedule: Multiple shift times available, Monday to Friday, early mornings, afternoons, and weekends

About the Role

At MCA, we take pride in being a leading Canadian Merchandising Company, providing top-notch services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across North America.

We are currently looking for reliable, energetic Merchandising Representatives to support a leading manufacturer's Direct Store Delivery (DSD) program in big box retail stores. In this role, you will work directly with the client's products after they have been delivered to the store, maintaining organized, well-stocked shelves and displays that support sales.

This is a fast-paced, physical role in a busy retail environment where multiple vendors, store employees, and deliveries happen simultaneously. Being able to work safely, stay organized, and communicate effectively is essential. Steel toed shoes/boots are required on site.
