Job summary

Vancouver Christian School is seeking an experienced part-time Grade 1 and part-time Physical Education (PHE) teacher for 0.77 FTE, starting mid-February. The successful candidate will contribute to a Christ-centred learning environment and collaborate with a dedicated staff to nurture students’ academic, social, spiritual, and emotional growth.

The ideal applicant is a certified British Columbia teacher with a Bachelor of Education, and may bring ECE credentials as an asset.

Qualifications

• Certified BC teacher with Bachelor of Education.
• BC certified teacher required; ECE is an asset.
• Experience delivering numeracy and literacy instruction.
• Incorporates faith integration across the curriculum.
• Knowledge of UDL and differentiated instruction.
• Strong pedagogy, assessment practices and technigally adept learning.
